Nu har jag börjat komma till ro hemma i Sverige, för tillfället mitt ute i skogen med bara katterna (och syster + hund) till sällskap. Har en massa saker halvritade och planerade från Sheffield som inte hanns med innan jag drog hem, så de kommer väl så smått dyka upp (och en dag ska jag även ändra headern).

Jag hittade en lista med frågor som passar in på när man har studerat utomlands en termin, så här kommer de:

 What was the single best thing that happened? So hard to pick one! But I guess it would be the awesome trip to Durham, got to see the place where Harry Potter movies 1 + 2 was shot, and met Marie on the bus ride home.

What was the single most challenging thing that happened? Probably to have time to do everything I needed to do before leaving to go home.

What was your best buy? Without a doubt the tv, bought the first day I arrived to my flat. Without it I couldn't play video games all semester ^^

What did you spend most money on? Foooood

What song(s) will always remind you of your stay? Stuff that was played on the parties at the Student Union: Justin Bieber - "Sorry", Calvin Harris & Disciples - "How deep is your love", Taylor Swift - "Shake it off" (and many more)!

What was proudest moment(s)? When completing two big essays in a day (with a migraine) and another time when I also did two big assignments in two days (with a migraine), singing Whitney Houston's "I will always love you" on karaoke night (killing it)

 

 Which relationship(s) meant the most to you and why? Definitely the ones with Marie and Manon! <3

 

What did you learn? So much about the UK and their accents and dialects, their prejudices and norms, how to become a better fiction writer, how to do a presentation in Prezi, how to write a good synopsis and film review etc, 

What is your biggest disappointment(s) or regret(s)? That I didn't go on the Harry Potter Studio Tour that the Uni hosted, that I didn't see my favourite comedian Eddie Izzard when he came to the Student Union, that I never (not once!) went on Wednesday nights to play table tennis 

What was the smartest decision you made? To buy a tv so I could play video games, to walk everywhere instead of taking the bus/tram/taxis

What was the worst financial decision you made? To travel to the US (not that I would want to undo it of course!)

 

How did you spend your free time? Sitting by the laptop playing Age of Empires: Castle Siege or Dawn of War: Soulstorm or hanging on Facebook/9gag, playing Gears of War 3 or Rayman Legends on the Xbox One. 

What held you back? My shyness, social awkwardness and unability to interact with other human beings

How are you different now? I am more confident when travelling, I know that I am a good problem solver in tight spots. I am also even more introverted than before ^^ (but somewhat okay with that)
